I'm halfway through Seveneves at the moment and plan to move onto D.O.D.O. afterwards. Are they anything alike? Seveneves is all rather impersonal but D.O.D.O looks like it'll be more emotional, what with the first person narrator.

Planning to read it as soon as inter library loan comes through. In the meantime, I'm halfway through Akata Warrior.

Hi Roxy,

DODO also came across as a bit impersonal to me - it follows a bunch of different characters' threads, and makes use of some unusual third-person narrative techniques. But it does concern itself with the emotions of its' characters a bit more than Seveneves, so in that sense it might be less distant? Sorry if that's not much help...
