Valerie wrote: "Strong start! I will be reading Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Half of a Yellow Sun"Awesome book!
I'll be reading Outlander! It's been on my TBR for 5 years and on my shelves for at least a couple. Time to get to it!

This is on my list as well, but not #10. Looking forward to your review.
I will be reading Kenya: Who Will Catch Us As We FallI am trying to tackle all countries touching the equator. I have “been to” Kenya before (both by book and IRL) but am looking forward to this book.
I'll be reading Secrets We Kept: Three Women of Trinidad set in Trinidad. A new to me country for my circumnavigation, and on my unread shelf!
I will be reading Umberto Eco's Baudolino for February. This has been gathering dust on my bookshelf for a very, very long time. So I am looking forward to finally reading it.
For # 9 I will be reading a second book from Kenya One Day I Will Write About This Place: A MemoirThis is the one book I hoped would not be picked as my goal is to read books from all the countries overlapping the equator and now I have read Kenya 3 times. Lol. Getting to know Kenya well.
My #9 is Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood. I'm excited to start this graphic novel memoir about a girl growing up in Iran.
Kristy wrote: "My #9 is Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood. I'm excited to start this graphic novel memoir about a girl growing up in Iran."I enjoyed that book quite a bit. It's a quick read, too.
Bluemoon wrote: "My #9 is Salt Houses"This book looks very interesting. I look forward to your review.
For March I will be reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!Super excited to start this series!
Doris wrote: "I've got All the Light We Cannot See for March."One of my favorite books ever. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Me too. I loved it so much I visited Saint Malo a couple of years ago and walked in Marie-Loure’s footsteps. This book is in my soul.

I would love to go to Saint Malo!
I am heading to Oceana for #4 Nauru. This is one of the countries I am tackling for my “read a book from every country crossing the Equator” self challenge. I am looking forward to exploring someplace I have never been. Offshore: Behind the Wire on Manus and Nauru
Bluemoon wrote: "I'm off to Ghana reading Homegoing which is also on my Random Travel list."I really enjoyed Homegoing.
Bluemoon wrote: "I'm off to Ghana reading Homegoing which is also on my Random Travel list."That's an awesome book!

It has been on my TBR for a while now so it will be good to finally get it read.
LOL. I am regretting my list now. I am going BACK to Nauru (seriously?), reading I Have Seen the Moon: Reflections on Nauru. I am 75% through April’s meaty tome - Offshore: Behind the Wire on Manus and Nauru. It is a LONG nonfiction account of refuge offshoring to Nauru. I had to look this island up on a map when I realized it was the smallest country but now I know it pretty well. And I do not want to visit.
Oops. I just realized I read 5 in April and now will read 4 - will I be ok for points reading one each month?

Oops, looked at my list wrong. I'll be reading Otherwise Engaged. Looks like I'm sticking with historical fiction in England.
