I read the series in 2012 and a new book in that series came out that year. It is about a boy who discovers he is of Mayan Heritage. I'm pretty sure he lives in Mexico and practices capoeira with his best friend. He becomes involved in a plot to take over the world. There is an underground Mayan city in Mexico with advanced technology, enough so that they can travel through time. I'm pretty sure he is royalty of some sort but I'm not sure.

Josh Ipps | 2 comments I'm just reading this book now and thinking about conflict. In this book ***SPOILER ALERT*** when his dad dies, M.G Harris does a very good job of dragging this conflict out. This really keeps me interested. What do you think?

I was going to suggest you start a discussion on the book's page, but I see you already did.

What do you think about the conflict in this book?
Also climax points and resolutions of conflicts.
(A climax is when a big problem or the main point of the story is released to the reader.)
