May it not be!Okay, thanks for telling us--this may be for the general good of GR. This will be a PITA for the readathon I'm doing (at a very slow pace of 34-54 pages per day as it's the holidays and I've been doing other things).
Till the afternoon on the 1st! Sigh. That's when I'll finally be posting my top 10. I would have also been posting my challenges that day, except that I wanted to get my PBT Trim list of 36 up sooner.
Thank you for letting us know, though! Will obviously have to wait till later in the day to post my top 10.
Seems like silly timing in my opinion . . .I guess utilization must be low so that's why they chose it, but I'd have thought it would be lower on the morning of a regular work day.

It doesn't sound like it would interfere with posting your top 10. It's just some features are disabled not the whole system is down.
Footnotes has gone missing on my thread..is it just me? I had to flit around on "search " to get here....
Sorry, Joanne! Footnotes 2019 is still up top. I moved 2018 footnotes down as part of our year end maintenance!

I moved some of the active threads up there so now everyone can. Please let me know if there's any key threads you want moved.

That's what I figured happened, but I was getting in through the back door anyway.

Both 2018 footnotes and 2018 Activities are missing on my thread. Must have gone missing in the wee hours today because my Dec 31 post Musing on a Monday is in the 2019 footnotes, not the 2018 as i thought. I have one more fkurry ready to post in December..hopefully moderators will cut us some slack! Or maybe move the flurries thread into 2019?

Just to add, Anita, I'm also not seeing 2018 Footnotes, Activities, or Member Tracking.
All are moved to the bottom of Discussions. They are all there still. Just put with the 2016 and 2017 folders.

I was looking at "More discussions", but as I scrolled down, I'm sure it was skipping from 2019 back to 2017 and 2016. I will look again.
ETA: It went to the monthly folders from 2018, then 2017, 2016. I didn't scroll ALL THE WAY to the bottom. Sigh. I see them now. Thanks.
Yeah I found Flurries this AM. I was not functioning all that well last night.🙄

Scheduled Maintenance: 31December2018 to 01January2019
Hi everyone
Due to some required maintenance, we’ll be briefly disabling a few Goodreads features from the evening of December 31 until the afternoon of January 1st (PST). Changes will include:
- Displaying ten books per page on my books.
- Displaying ten items per page for search.
- Progress updates not being visible on the homepage.
- The combine and separate functions will be unavailable.
- My Activity not being visible on the book page.
We appreciate your understanding while we complete this work, and apologize for any trouble caused by this temporary state of reduced functionality. We’ll post in this thread when things are back to normal!
