Tamysn- Thanks, I missed it was c2018 because I didn't see it until this month so thought it was 2019. Also didn't remember any Newbery buzz from Night Gardener which I loved so I thought maybe he was Canandian. Thanks for checking. I may have to knock something else off my list.

It won many great awards sans the coveted Newbery. Sweep is just as good as NG if not better.
