Barb | 1651 comments Finished my Q (quadriped) book. It's been quite awhile since I last read this series, and I'm not sure I'll continue it. I liked the story and the setting, but some of the MC's behaviors really bothered me.

It's been forever since I read the first in the series (Death by a Honeybee) -- I think I got it as a freebie too -- but I must have liked it enough to continue the series. Or maybe I was just sucked in by the cliffhanger at the end of the first book? Either way, I don't remember being so annoyed by the MC in the first two books.

message 1931: by Jan, Moderator (last edited Apr 22, 2021 04:46PM) (new)

Jan | 21026 comments I'm really working hard on paring down my series books and have focused so far this year on reading a ton of series #1 books to see if I can scratch them off my series spreadsheet. I feel better scratching the series if that #1 one book was free...lol. My spreadsheet has almost 200 UNSTARTED series on it. Not mentioning how many started series I have.

message 1932: by Barb (new)

Barb | 1651 comments Oh I know that feeling all too well, Jan :) The last time I looked, I had well over 200 unstarted series ... so I stopped looking lol
