Finally finished Set 16 J for Jakarta with Blue Latitudes: Boldly Going Where Captain Cook Has Gone Before, by Tony Horwitz.

Interesting book. Bleak yet uplifting, Depressing yet funny. Long, anyway you look at it! But Cook did circumnavigate the globe three times, I guess! That takes some time.

I got about 2/3's in reading it and had to put it aside for library books with due dates (I own Becoming) and was just starting to feel the same way - great book but let's move it along now. Glad I had a bit of a respite so I'll feel better about it when I get back to it. It was a good stopping point too - he was just about - spoiler alert - to win the election. :)
