The ATY challenge for 2018 was my first time doing this. I just finished my 52nd book today. I loved doing this challenge. I read more books and different types of books than I usually do during a year. I’m ready to do it again for 2019!

I just finished my forth book for the year- The Passenger. It was a wild ride and a fun read, but once you finish and start thinking about it there is a million plot twists and it's very silly! Still a good read and I'm checking off #50 a book that includes a journey.

I finished Gilead over the weekend. The writing was wonderful, but it wasn't quite my style. I usually read books with lots of action. I was happy to check it and #38 off my list!

I finished Days Without End. This was a heavy, depressing book. I enjoyed the pretty writing, but the story never really pulled me in. I'm glad I listened on audiobook, otherwise I probably wouldn't have finished. It was a finalist for the Man Booker Prize in historical fiction, so I'm checking off #1.

I just finished The Pillars of the Earth and now I'm trying to figure out where to fit other Ken Follet! I loved it.

I was on vacation last week and read a little! I finished Illuminae wish I didn't love, but it was okay. I'm not much of a sci-fi girl. I'm not sure if I will read the next one in that series.

I also finished The Sky Is Everywhere. It was fine... Although it's been a week and I've already basically forgotten what it was about. Apparently, it didn't do it for me. Ha.

Finally, I read The War I Finally Won which I absolutely LOVED. Such a great book!

I've had a good reading weekend! I finished World Without End which is over 1000 pages and perfect for #32. I'm really enjoying this series and need to figure out where to fit the third one into my challenge!

I also read The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry and LOVED this book! It was a quick easy read about a book store owner. Lovely book and perfect for #12.

I finished two books that were both just okay this week.

For my #35. A psychological thriller, I read The Pocket Wife which was honestly a little boring and like every psychological triller out there. I only gave it two stars!

I also finished #17 A speculative fiction with Dark Matter. This was a fun book if you can suspend all logic and just roll with it.

I just finished Us Against You and it ripped my heart out. I can't stop thinking about this amazing book.

And I'm using it for #40. A book you stumbled upon because I just realized my library got it after looking forward to reading it for like six months!

I finished The Night Circus last night. That is one of the slowest books I've ever read! But it was very descriptive, so I'm going to check off #39. A book with a strong sense of place or where the author brings the location/setting to life

I just finished Where the Forest Meets the Stars and it was SOOOOOOOO GOOD! I highly recommend. And it's perfect for #14. A book with a title, subtitle or cover relating to an astronomical term.
