SOLVED. Fantasy - Girl gets drawn into a war between 2 gods. [s]

This book was the first in a trilogy. The book is about a girl who gets brought to a world where an aging male god and a young female god are fighting for dominance.

The male god was a god of the forge and fire. The female god dealt with nature and i believe she had insect characteristics. The followers of the male god, who were in control, were militaristic. The female god's followers were healers and the men wore makeup and were also escorts.

I also remember there were a lot of what may of been made up words that werent really defined but you learned them as you read through the book. I thought this was really interesting since the girl was not from the world of these gods either.

I can give more information, including spoilers but the first paragraph says no spoilers. It was mentioned that in one of the introductory posts that spoilers are ok but since im not sure i wont post any.
