Lindsey Hey! ISBN is 9781629724928. Kindle version has somewhere around 1100 pages (which is what's currently listed as the page number on Goodreads), but the print version has 699 pages. If it could get switched to the print page number, that'd be great. Thank you!

But the ISBN I gave does pull up the print version on Amazon--699 pages. The kindle version has a different ISBN. Can it be switched to the print ISBN instead of the kindle ISBN?

Sandra | 31486 comments For the kindle edition, the page on amazon says 1065 pages, regardless that it also says it came from the print version.

We don't have a choice, policy states that kindle editions must be provided by amazon and in this case it states 1065 pages.

If you want your page numbers to be correct I suggest switching to the paperback edition.

The paperback edition with ISBN 9781629724928 already has the page count of 699, and has since September. See https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

Lindsey Aaah, I see what my problem has been. I only use Goodreads on my phone (unless I hop on website to do groups) and in the app there's no option to change the format like you can on the actual website. I was today years old when I found out the format *could* be changed. Good to know! Goodreads is so random with what can and can't be done on the app. We're venturing away from page numbers now, but why is it that when you search for that book the default is the kindle version? The only way to get to that print version from the app is through the link posted above (or I suppose by scanning it, but I don't have the print copy on hand). I've never had that happen before. Is it a weird algorithm or bug that makes it do that or is it something that can be tweaked?

Thank you for being patient with me!

Sandra | 31486 comments The kindle edition is the default edition, that's why it comes up first.

The default edition is the one most shelved or the one that the author has chosen. It's not something that librarians can change.
