Thanks for the pick, Jenn! I really don't think I would have ever read it otherwise!

I went back and read through the posts and saw Jen and Tessa both said they wanted to read it-not sure if they have yet or not-I can start now too😁

message 265: by Michele (new)

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments Jenn, I just set up a BR thread...so I’m gonna start tonight. Hopefully Jen & Tessa can join in too.

message 266: by Lynette (new)

Lynette Habak (lhabak) I rated The Pebble Jar with 5 🌟 I really related to the young Abbigail with her feeling of being an outside growing up and not having that family closeness. Learned some new things regarding life in the UK also☺️

Yeah, im not rating books this year. Ratings and reviews are not my strong suit. Im just happy to be reading.

message 268: by Lynette (new)

Lynette Habak (lhabak) No worries!!! do you need a new book picked from your list?

message 269: by [deleted user] (new)

No, but thank you. Im actually in the middle of 3 different books right now and a japanese drama. I may of bit off more than i can chew, lol.

message 270: by Lynette (new)

Lynette Habak (lhabak) ok great! I was worried because I forgot to check! Enjoy and just send me a message when you need it!!!

I get it! I can't write reviews. They give me anxiety. I am happy you are reading again so that is awesome.

Thanks, it feels good. The majority of books are just ok/good reads. So i always end up giving a 3 star rating lol.

JudyCa | 1709 comments I totally suck at reviews! If I do write something it's usually pretty short 😬

Enjoy Behind the Bars ladies, it's a fantastic story 😁

message 275: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments So, I haven't had time to update my ratings.....but you may have noticed I am now on the last book of the Carnage trilogy. I will say, I struggled with book 1 and hated some of the characters so I'm still debating with regard to my rating, and this is because I liked book 2 soooo much better!!! Anyway, figured I'd jump right into book 3 because it will complete a challenge on the "Levels" challenge we are doing. (And I'm curious about Marley......)

Ok Jean...I've been waiting for your feedback on book 2. So, I will definitely be reading that one soon. Also, look forward to hearing your thoughts on Marley's book...I think Paula liked all of them if I remember correctly.

Funny, As much as I LOVED books 1 and 2, I never read anything past that. I started Marley's book, but then I think a KA book was released, so I squirreled and never went back to it. And somehow, GR unmarked it, so now I've put it back on my tbr.

message 279: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments I'm not that far into Marley, but I'm liking the whole concept..... him writing a book without hurting the ones he loves. And I always like a man's POV!!!!

message 280: by Paula (new)

Paula White | 800 comments Yey Jean!! I loved all 3 😀 you get to know things about what happened in book 1 and 2 in Marley’s book

You are so welcome! I was debating a reread of The Siren for one of my Levels Challenge...and you may have just sealed the deal for me. Nora is one of my faves, and Zach Easton is one of my favorite Book Boyfriends EVER!

message 286: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I finished Look the Part last night. I know most people loved it, but I could only give it 3 stars, and that had nothing to do with the fact that Ellen's pushiness (and random humming) bugged the crap out of me. I gave it 3 stars because I thought there was some gratuitous, unnecessary drama and (view spoiler)

I did like it more than I expected to, and when I was able to overlook the things about Ellen that annoyed me, I found myself enjoying much of it.

Thanks for giving me the nudge to finally read it, Jan!

message 287: by Tessa (new)

Tessa | 1761 comments Oh, mine. Royally Matched. It was hilarious and fun. 4stars. I laughed so hard. especially at some parts. I had to set the tablet down so I wouldn't drop it from laughing.
