Finnick Odair | 3 comments Want a sugar cube? As the technologic geniuses of the world have yet to devise an object that allows items, such as sugar cubes, to be electronically transferred from one person to another, you'll have to settle for our next olympic sport: synchronized swimming!

Each country has been assigned a book to read, as listed below. Athletes have 48 hours to read and collaborate to construct a single review for the assigned book. Reviews must be written with input from a multitude of team members and must be 150+ words. The winning countries will be determined by the number of athletes that contribute to the writing of the review - timing does not affect the results for this sport!

Are you a true member of district 4? We'll find out soon enough...

Australia: Surfacing
Canada: Princesses Don't Get Fat
England: A Wrinkle in Time
France: Stealing Heaven
Hogwarts: The Last Lecture
Indonesia: The Hidden Staircase
Mars: The Wednesday Wars
Narnia: The Secret Garden
Netherlands: The Distance Between Us
USA: Alice in Wonderland

Lynanne Carroll (waterfall17) | 48 comments Question: if it's by numbers, the numbers are going to be proportional to total team size, right?

Because...Narnia could never win against a team that involves 4 teammates (we literally only have 3 people on our team).

Say USA has 10 members, and 4 decide to compete...and Narnia had 3 members, and 3 decide to compete. Narnia participates more, but still loses :(

If it isn't proportional, Narnia doesn't have a fair chance to win. Not that winning is everything...it'd just be disappointing to know we gave our all and still lost because other teams have more members.

Riya Yes- it will be a ratio of how many people participate vs. how many people are in the team.
