I bought this book at a grocery store around 2007. The cover was holographic with a green background and a black silhouette of a man running away. I believe the author was male.

The story is about a man in his 30's or 40's who's a professional poker player (maybe not legally, but I think it's his main profession). I believe it to take place in a big eastern US city like New York or Chicago. He's a math genius, which helps him a lot with poker. I'm not sure what triggers it, but it seems to be when he's playing poker that he suddenly has visions of events that happen a few minutes into the future. In one of the events he's playing in the front of a building with big glass windows, and in his vision he sees a car crashing through the window into the building, which happens in real life a few minutes later. I don't think he's aware of how or why this is happening to him. His nose bleeds when the visions happen.

At some point he's being chased by an agency like the FBI or something because they want to understand his powers, or figure out how to replicate them, or destroy him because he's a threat? Maybe they gave him the powers? I'm not sure, my memory is vague on this part. But I think he meets a woman who's either a detective or a lawyer or a journalist, something like that, and she starts to help him? I think he discovers papers in her house that uncover some kind of secret. Maybe she was a double agent that was pretending to be his friend but actually worked for the agency, idk. She might've also been a love interest.

I don't remember how the book ends. I might've not finished it. I remember the cover of this book but I just can't remember the title or author! TIA
