message 4: by Magdalena (new)

Magdalena | 414 comments I was planning on putting Stardust and Kindred on my list, would it be okay if I lined up the numbers so there was a possibility we could do a buddy read?

I'm really looking forward to reading these (or a 1/3 of these).

Barbara M (barbara-m) | 2594 comments I just read Mirrormask and enjoyed it very much. I also just finished the group read for Circe. I thought Kindred was wonderful and Alias Grace is one I read this year too. You've got a good list! I hope you get to these too.

Thanks Barbara! It's good to know I'm heading for some great reads!

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11067 comments Hi, I noticed there are 4 or 5 people reading Woman in the Window. #32 was a safe spot for everyone, if you're interested.

message 13: by Sue (new)

Sue | 2717 comments Yes - I'm happy to move Woman in the Window to 32.

message 14: by Theresa (new)

Theresa | 15518 comments I moved Last Train to Istanbul from 11 to 9 to increase our odds slightly of maybe getting it picked.

message 15: by Sue (new)

Sue | 2717 comments Oh good! Looking forward to that one - hoping it gets picked.

Sue | 2717 comments I've decided to abandon the Pop Sugar Challenge for this year. I'm just not going to be able to read that many books this year.

I abandoned it too-It was the amount of books, it was some of the challenges were a little too "weird" for my taste. I would like to find another group to join-I have been skulking around some but just have not found the right fir for me yet. Hopefully by next year. Do you belong to any other groups here on GR?

message 18: by Sue (new)

Sue | 2717 comments Yes, I love "Everyone Has Read This But Me" and "21st Century Literature" - both very active groups here on GR.

Both of those groups are low-key, no pressure, participate when you can/want. And I've found some really good books I wouldn't have picked up otherwise.

Thanks for the info-I will check them both out!
