That one looks to be 50% purple. Check the other editions and see if there's a green one though.

All teams earned their free pass this first roll. I'll be getting post 1 of each team's thread updated with it (probably tomorrow lol)
So, obviously reviewing books appears to be an important part of this game. I can understand reviewing a new book so that a reader can get an idea of what other readers liked or disliked about the book. My question is, why do I need to write a review if 300 other people have already reviewed it? Especially if my rating matches 250 of them. Who sits there and reads all 300 reviews?
With the reviews, we aren't looking for long drawn out reviews (like what I typically write). You aren't required to post them anywhere but in your teams thread and they don't have to be more than a few sentences about why you either liked or disliked the book.In all the times I've played this game here (and others like it in other groups), I've added a ton of books to my TBR based on the few sentences that people have written about the books they've read. I'm not going to run off and check out a book based solely on your rating, I need more than that and I'm always interested in adding more books to the never ending mountain. The reviews might seem tedious, but they are an added bonus for your teammates. I enjoy writing them and reading the ones written by my team.
Leslie wrote: "Well, if it is just for my teammates, I think I can change my attitude for them. :)"As one of your teammates, I appreciate it. I look forward to seeing what I can add from what you read. (And yes, I realize I might have a problem. Lol)
Jenne I don't think I'll be able to continue with the challenge. College is getting a bit hectic for me right now and I can't seem to find enough time to read. I've already been reading my books till the last moment and I don't think it's fair to my team. Is there someone who could take my place?
Yes I can find a back up player no problem. Good luck with your studies, and that always takes priority :)
I mentioned to my sister of being ready for a new book tomorrow, so I was telling her of how the challenge works and showing her the dice roll and I saw this message Advisory: RANDOM.ORG will be intermittently unavailable on Sunday 2014-09-28 due to maintenance work.
So hoping no problems tomorrow when we roll.
What! Random.org can't be unavailable. We need it for everything. lolThanks Danielle for letting us know. I think I'll post this in each of the team threads just in case.
There's another website that does the same thing, I'll look for a link when I'm back at the computer, or if anyone knows of one feel free to post it here :)
You can go here, you just have to change the number of dice and the number of rolls to 1Roll Dice Online
If there's anyone that's not already playing both versions of the game and would be interested in being a sub player for one week, let me know. It would be for the week of 10/10-10/17.
It should they've all been set in Chicago. It only has to be set in the given location for only a little bit of the story.
Now that we're nearing the end. Each team has the potential winning alternates under a spoiler tag in the alternate post of their threads. To win you must roll past 75 and you can either read the number you'd be on or the alternate for that spot. In the event of multiple teams having a shot at it, the winners would be whichever team finished first.
For those of you that enjoy the two books a week team challenge, SOS has their super speedy bingo sign ups going. Today is the cutoff date though.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Ironically enough, teams 1,2,3 have the potential to roll past 75 on Sunday. In the event there's multiple teams that could win, then whoever finishes first is the winner.
Sorry, one more question...The team I'm on is on space 74, if our captain rolls a 1 are we in the running or does it have to be above 75?
I think it's above but figured I'd check!
