Out of curiosity, since we can post graphic novels in groups of 300 for a 1 pt value would we be able to do similar with short stories/novellas under 100 pages. If we review each and post together in increments of 100 can we use them? I have so many that are 40-95 pages put keep putting them off. Would be great if we can get some credit maybe?

* If you are reading novellas which are less than 100 pages long, you may also add together the page counts of one or more novellas of less than 100 pages, to get to the minimum page count of 100 pages. Books will both have to match a description though, and must be posted at the same time.

Hi, I have a question. For the topic "Read a book a friend of family member wrote" does it have to be published, or a rough draft or would it count if it's not finished...... just curious what counts.
Also, is a review copy an ARC or just a copy of the book you received to review. The author of the Crowns of Croswald sent me a copy of her first book to review, but it is not an ARC.... would that count?
Yes. A review copy is known as an ARC. ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy.

For this challenge it's just a review copy, it doesn't have to be an advanced copy ☺ You could also count it under 'a book you got for free' ☺

Just to be sure, I am allowed to read the screenplay from Fanastic beasts (JK rowling) but I just get less points from it since it is a play?
To add; Maybe I am not allowed since I am not fully sure how to determine how many pages a book has and maybe it has too little. So now I am really unsure if I am allowed to read it. :P

Your book would count because there are editions on Goodreads that are over 300 pages-you choose the highest page count edition on Goodreads regardless of which one you read. Hope that helps :)

Hi Eva Luna, Skye is right, you can use screenplays, but they need to have 300 pages (or you can read 2 or more whose pages add up to 300 pages), and you'll earn 1 point per 300 pages ☺

Hi Eva Luna, usually people post their updates as they're reading the book, do you know how to post the updates?

Usually, when you go to Goodreads home page, the book(s) that you're currently reading should show up on the left hand side of the page, and there should be an option to write an update. You pop in how far into the book you are in either pages or %, and then put in your update ☺ (try to tell us something about what is happening in the book) hopefully that is still how it works, I haven't posted any updates in a while ☺

You have to do to each individual book page to update in the meantime.
