2019 Team Competition Tracker/Google Sheet Central

Standalones, books above 600 pages (or under 250 = novellas), etc."
Ooooh that would be cool :) could you add novellas, tomes and standalones to my sheet? 😃

Could you add standalones and novellas (below 200 pages ) for me ?

=" Tomes: "&COUNTIFS(O$15:O,1,E$15:E,">600") "
This idea would be perfect for me since I love to read large books but don't read audiobooks. Could someone please add this for me? Thanks :-)

Will get started on this tomorrow :)

For all 2019!

Thanks for doing all that for us 😊

I think it would be cool to track the tomes I read on a month by month basis (hopefully it'll motivate me to read even more of them) if its not to much work for you.
Thanks Virginie :-)

Thanks! I spent quite some time on my own scoresheet to test new formulas (Iain can attest to that :p) and I'm proud of the result :D
Modified your scoresheet, you now have a tomes tracker instead of a audiobook one! :)

@Virginie - would you be able to add one for me as well and swap my graphic novels from my monthly stats for standalone/series too? :) thank you!

Virginie wrote: "@Jenna: By 'add one', do you mean a tome tracker for all 2019 (first two lines - not monthly stats)?"
Ooooh...now that I look at your sheet again...maybe both? Your sheet is beautiful <3

I just looked at my sheet and someone is changing things around! Exciting! Thanks so much Virginie <3
There's also an Anon Badger just chilling on my sheet for some reason. Hello Anon Badger :)

Hehe, you witnessed the Excel Fairy working on your sheet!
I went and gave you the 'full' treatment, like for Angela Jr.
For the entire year, you have those stats:
- Novellas: page count between 1-250
- Books: page count between 251- 600
- Tomes: page count between 601 - infinity (:p)
- All books: all of the above + books entered through the form;
And you have the two little graph-bar thingy
- Series books / Standalones; a book is counted as standalone if you leave column C empty
- Audiobooks / 'Written' books

If at all possible I would love to have the stats for standalone vs series books rather than the graphic novels. If possible, could you do both monthly and yearly. Hope I'm not asking for too much.

Pretty sure it just shows whoever else is looking at the tracker, not specifically your tab of it. So, they might be looking at their own sheet.

The Primer sheet is an example sheet to explain things... it has sample books to demonstrate features, since it's not linked to the competition...
Further along, past the totals sheets, you can find your personal sheet...

Can I get this? If you're too busy don't worry about it and I can play with it myself tonight.

If at the top, yea it's sheetwide... but if one of your cells is highlighted, you can see a name if you hover over it, and those are on your sheet...

If anyone sees a formula they like, they can highlight the column of cells, hit CTRL+C to copy, head over to their own sheet, and highlight the topmost cell they want to replace (the Audio cell in January for example) and right click, choose Paste Special, and "paste the formula only" to get the nifty stats without ruining your color scheme...

No worries. I'll just update it myself when I get on my laptop tonight. I'm just lazy :-)

And you're right, I've only read 3 graphic novels my whole life 😂

I've read a couple dozen, if you count the webcomics that are successful enough to be printed in volumes, usually years later...
But ACTUAL graphic novels, it's basically just White Sands Volume 1... and it wasn't really worth continuing... just cause Sanderson's old novel draft inspired the story, doesn't mean it's worth it, sadly...

Virginie was just an idea machine... the day AFTER she duplicated the template 50x and released the spreadsheet to the group...

I would like to have that series vs standalone function on my sheet too. it looks super cool.
Also if not too much of a hassle can I have a publication year column and a corresponding graph to show it. something like GR shows us in publication stats but for this year only?

Oops, almost missed this!
I replaced your monthly GN stat by Tomes (and you've got the stat for all 2019 right under your monthly stat, the line 'Total')

Done! In your monthly stats, you now have 'Standalones' - simply leave the column C (series) empty to have a book added to that; your yearly stat is right under (the line 'Total')

Thanks love ❤️"
Mmmh. Directly copying my sheet is probably a bad idea; I heavily modified some formulas to suit my reading habits (and am too lazy to either explain them or reverse the processus to get a 'normal' scoresheet).
Instead, take a look at Angela Jr's scoresheet. I think that one got pretty much everything you asked. I can work on getting you a 'coloring' similar to my sheet after, if you want :D

So... What? I'll own your soul? That's a better bargain than the 6 min that guy from Succubus Blues got, but still...
(kidding)
Will work on it soon(ish) :D

Series vs Standalones: Yup, will add it! Though to do so, I have to remove the monthly GN tracker to make some space; I'm assuming you're OK with that. Tell me if you're not, and I'll work something out :)
Publication year: Yeah, that's easy to make :)

I don't have any plans to read GN right now. :)
