Sorry I'm coming in late and confused.. So you can read any book that you want and then update how many you've read as you finish them?

Each participant just says how many books they've read since their last update and then I update it in the first comments above

In the updates, just write the total number of books read so far. Like the GR challenge. I hope this makes it clear.

Hi Maggie, you are msg 34 :)
And no you don't have to add the books you read or update your original post.
Just make a new comment that you are updating msg 34 with the amount of books you've read since your last comment and I'll update it :)

So if you've read 10 books this year, and 1 is from the buddy reads just add them all, so in total you'll say book count 11 books :)

Every time you update your progress here, do mention the total number of books read (e.g. 20) and do mention the first text you did on this thread so that I can update your progress accordingly! (for e.g. you first texted on this thread and your message number was 5, then whenever you post again you'll have to mention that you are updating your message 5)
The msg used as reference will be the one where you first told us about ur progress.
