Have you tried Jill Shalvis, Emma Chase, Tara Sivec? Too late to think of any others.

Have you read the "Text" series by Teagan Hunter? It has some serious laugh-out-loud moments. Really cute books. There are 3 currently out and a 4th (and final) releasing early this year.

Speaking of tbr.. I think it would be fun to add to a challenge that we must read a book from our tbr list. Mine is out of control and growing fast. LOL

hehe...I have 575 on my tbr and I own almost 400...I've stock piled free books on my kindle. It's easy to do...but they do come in handy when I'm working on a challenge...and I'm soooo addicted to challenges. Some day, I'll have something else more important to worry about...

Okay you way outdone me. Now that I have retired I am more book addicted than ever. Also getting addicted to challenges. Doing three now plus the regular goodreads for the year. What challenges to you like?
Pam wrote: "Tammie wrote: "Pam wrote: "Tammie wrote: "Cyndee wrote: "Tammie wrote: "If anyone would like specific recommendations in a particular category now might be a good time to share given our first ‘E’ ..."I love and hate team challenges...love them because I’m really competitive...If teamies do what they commit to and communicate...it’s fun.
Some of the funnest are tower team Challenge, uno, wobble...these are much more intense than what we are currently playing here.
I do quite a few individual challenges...word hunt is probably my fav individual.
How about you?

I've just really started doing them but I love the individual challenges! I'm doing the monthly word hunt, the Meet & Greet, all the A-Z ones (author, book title, male character, female character), and the US states one. It's an obession/illness really. LOL!
I feel like we got a really great team for this one. I read an average of one book a day and I feel like I'm the low man on this totem pole. HA!

I will have to check out some of these other challenges. I am already half done A-Z. Also doing author of the month but that is easy. I like this one a lot.
Pam wrote: "Speaking of tbr.. I think it would be fun to add to a challenge that we must read a book from our tbr list. Mine is out of control and growing fast. LOL "OMG, mine too. But, for the most part, all the books I've used (at least for the initial read) have been on my TBR AND were shelved as other challenge books. I've got to get those knocked out before I can sign up for any more challenges (GR Resolution).

I just started the word hunt. LOL Between reading and recording my reads not much time left for house work. So sad!!!

I think it might be called the "location" challenge or something like that. It's one of the annual ones.

Curious about the State Challenge. What if the whole book is traveling, do you count each state they go through?
Pam wrote: "Curious about the State Challenge. What if the whole book is traveling, do you count each state they go through?"
I personally just avoid including those books for that challenge, but you could count them all! I did have one that I counted as 2 states because they spent the first half in one and then moved to the other.

Here’s link to location challenge-> https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Tammie, It is called the Where Are You Reading Challenge but it looks to me like it was never started for 2019. My mistake and disappointed - thought it would be fun. Guess I will move on to the location challenge. Unless you want to start the State Challenge--hee hee Sorry don't know how to share the link but it is listed in the "ongoing challenges".
