I received my Secret Santa gift today!! I was too excited to wait, so I opened it and was thrilled to see I got The Librarian of Auschwitz! My Santa did the nearly impossible - found a book that is new to me in one of my favorite genres. I cannot wait to dig into it. Thank you Santa!

If you do see this, just know how grateful I am to have received your perfect gift in Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch. Whether you actually did some research on my genre interests or not, you SERIOUSLY got me a book I would have read long ago if I had known about it!

Urban fantasy is one of my absolute favorite genres when I can find a good one. I love when fantasy and the supernatural mix with more realistic fiction - in this case police crime/murder mysteries - which I read all the time (at least from the synopsis).

To my gift recipient, I sent out your gift a few days ago one day shipping, and Amazon notified me it delivered to you December 26th around 7:30 PM (it was supposed to Dec. 24th) and looks to be sitting outside your door so hopefully you get it when you wake up!
