Thank you, Secret Santa! 🎅 I received The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black. It was a pleasant surprise because I had been checking my emails quite regularly but for some reason it went straight to a different folder. Can't wait to read it.
I see some books that I love have been received by others: Red Rising, Uprooted, Outlander to name a few. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do :)

The Futures looks like something that is outside my normal go-to, but intriguing (which is something of a personal "genre" that I have grown to love). It will make a nice shift of gears to follow my current book, which is a children's Newbery from 1938.

The Winter Soldier looks to be right up my alley to start with - plus, I have no doubt at all that my husband will eat it up, as well. I'll read it in January or February for my in-season book on my Popsugar challenge!
