Changing Perspective at the Circus

One of the unique aspects of this novel were the constant changing perspectives of the narrator. Each chapter or sections shifted and we had to adjust to a new voice and sometimes a new time shift. At times I did find this hard to follow chronologically but very much enjoyed being able to see the Circus from multiple perspectives. Did anyone else have a similar experience with this shifting?
