So I was getting just a blank page trying to visit pbs using Firefox today. Just now, I got in using Opera, and then I tried Firefox again and it worked. On the forums, people are reporting issues with Chrome and IE as well. I really wish they would put up an actual error message when doing maintenance, planned or not. A blank page is pretty unhelpful.

Down again - just getting a white screen and downforall says they are out of commission.
I am getting a security warning in both Firefox and Safari.
I can not get in on Chrome or Edge. I posted on their facebook page hopefully they work on it. I think they had this problem last year. it was a certificate issue something like that
Yes, it says the security certificate expired. I also messaged on the facebook page. You can still get in, if you go to advanced, and then sign on anyway. You have to constantly do these steps for every action though.
So Sue I did that and sent an email to PBS too. It will just take time for them to fix again. We can all read while we wait to get on.
Thanks Alice for posting here so I know it just my problem. I can't get in at all on Chrome, even bypassing the safety feature.

We're very sorry this is happening! There is no risk associated with accessing the site. Our security certificates are valid. This is GoDaddy's mistake (the website host), and we are working with them to get it fixed.
We know those messages are very alarming! They don't reflect a real danger in this case, though. If you need to access the site, you won't be taking a risk by bypassing the messages. We hope to have the problem corrected ASAP, so those false-alarm warnings go away.

So hoping it is fixed soon! It was an annoying about of click thrus just to send a personal message. I definitely agree about being frustrating. Fingers crossed GoDaddy comes through and fixes this soon!!
PBS is down again. I see again one year from today. Looks like it is a certificate problem expiring again. I have pinged PBS on facebook.Is anyone else have this problem?

Well of course when I saw your post, I had to try, and it's down for me too. Security warning.

I think it is a yearly certificate PBS needs to renew and it is down again waiting for renewal

I got the same message from pbs. Just checked the site but still getting the warning.
I have been getting this since yesterday on any browser I try. :-(
Hoping it gets fixed this evening. I won't be able to check in tomorrow until evening. ( so if I am needed in a game please let the hostess know, thanks)
Seems like they could set a calendar reminder to renew proactively rather than letting the site go down anually....

Just tried to get in on Chrome and nothing comes up.
Yesterday they announced they would bring PBS down at 6 am today for maintenance should be up later.

guess it's taking longer than expected
I was having issues with it yesterday. It was running really slow. No surprise that it is not working today. What a bummer!
I agree with Melissa, it was extremely slow yesterday. Hopefully they get it fixed today.

It is posted on facebook that they PBS knows it is down and they are working on bringing it back up

So frustrating. Twice in 3 days. Hopefully they figure it out this time.
It seems to have been more and more the older the site gets, in my opinion.
It really is the least reliable site I visit regularly.

The was a lot of issues with microsoft and cyber attack this weekend so I was able to forgive the one on the weekend. This one not so much
