I'm finally joining this Series Challenge! I am just hooked on William Shaw's Breen and Tozer mystery series, set in Swinging Sixties London. Books read so far:
1.) She's Leaving Home
2.) The Kings of London

They are a bit different. Lots of character development, along with interesting mysteries. It shows the dark side of the Swinging Sixties, something I haven't seen alot of in fiction.

27) A Victorian San Francisco Mysteries 6/6 (read the last two that came out since my last catchup)
28) A Victorian San Francisco Novella 3/3 (books on minor characters in the Mysteries series. So fun to learn about them)

Also read 6 books that are the new additions to series I read before.... Not more than 2 books read now, but still wanted to mention them...

4.) Play With Fire by William Shaw
3 and a half stars. Book 4 of the Breen and Tozer series.

I'm all caught up with this series now. I can't wait for the next book to be published! It's SO addictive, and these characters feel like old friends.

5.) The Birdwatcher by William Shaw
4 stars.
This is the prequel for his new contemporary mystery series featuring Alexandra Cupidi. I will definitely continue reading the next book. I just love Shaw's writing!

6.) Salt Lane by William Shaw (Alexandra Cupidi #1)
3 stars. Contemporary mystery series. It does link with Shaw's Breen and Tozer series, though, because Alexandra is the grown daughter of the Helen Tozer from the series set in the Sixties. Helen herself is even featured in this book. Kind of neat, I thought.

Fran | 710 comments 7.) Stoneheart Trilogy - Charlie Fletcher (3/3)
Stoneheart
Ironhand
Silvertongue

Adelaide Blair | 450 comments #6 in the Wheel of Time series, Lord of Chaos. I am one book behind where I wanted to be with this, but I did have a headache for 6 weeks. 8 really long books left. I was hoping to finish by the end of 2020, but that's pretty ambitious. I read a ton of books, but can't force myself to read something I am not in the mood for, and I find I need some time in between books in a series.
