As I said before, my theory is (view spoiler)[Sasuke did get kidnapped and eventually released and returned to his family. But the trauma of the incident seeded the dark thought in Hideo's mind and his obsession with creating a crime-free society. Eventually, (probably as an adult) Sasuke chose to betray Hideo and became Zero. This betrayal infuriate Hideo very much, resulting in his murderous training session rage and him erasing all traces of Sasuke in his family's house. Also resulting in a strict ban of anything family related information. (hide spoiler)]

Hmm good point! (view spoiler)[ from Hideo’s menory it really seemed like he believes he was kidnapped, and he was a kid at the time too. So if something else was going on I have 0 idea what it could be. I do really want to know why Sasuke didn’t go home though. Maybe he’s been indoctrinated. (hide spoiler)]

That's all I can think of based on what's on the book. But I'm not planning to read the next book so I won't find out whether my theory is correct or not. Haha

Is the next book out? I do intend to read it at some point but I don't think it'll be soon. I'll likely wait until my library has it.
