One of the newest book on our shelves is The Line Becomes a River: Dispatches from the Border by Francisco Cantú. It was published in February.

Cantú was raised in West Texas and was a border patrol agent for a time. He has studied the Mexico-US boundary from both sides. "His beautifully written account of a life between nations cuts through the politics surrounding 'the wall' to probe what's really at stake."
