Laura (ldmccormick) | 6 comments Newly approved Goodreads Librarian here. I'm trying to get familiar with some things and on this series I noticed that book 5 of https://www.goodreads.com/series/1232... the Bird & Squirrel series will NOT stay with the other books. I noticed it and tried adjusting the information to match that of the others appropriately, but it will not add in to that series page, staying a loner. What am I missing?

Looking for WHAT to do more than having someone fix it. (Or at least tell me the process done so I can learn how to fix similar issues in the future.) Thanks.

Elizabeth (Alaska) Did you create a new series via the book edit page? That's not the way to add a book to a series. You must edit the series and add the book.

See the manual section on series:

Laura (ldmccormick) | 6 comments I didn't create anything. I just SAW it was not listed with the series. It seems to be showing up as a "related" series. I didn't know how to merge it in though.

Thanks, I got it added in. However, there is still a version of it floating around as "related series" by whoever initially created it.

I deleted that series. As you were the librarian on the edit log, I assumed you added it incorrectly. But all is fixed now. Learning something new always makes the day a good one.

Not sure what you mean here. Of course it was appearing because it actually existed.
