Boston Lyric Opera We're so excited to read The Handmaid's Tale as we prepare for our May 2019 production of the operatic adaptation.

As we read the novel and prepare for the performance, we're starting to imagine how each character and location will transform onstage.

What are some of your favorite moments in the book that you'd want to see make it to the stage?
