SOLVED. Fantasy book, 3 book series(If I recall) 2 protagonists, 1 Girl, 1 Boy, something to do with leaving there town to search or save something. [s]

1 boy and 1 girl, went off on an adventure to save there land/town/world? I remember that they were friends and the boy climbed a statue of some sort in his town to find a clue, I remember in the end the girl used magic to save the world/land, they went on a quest to do so, idk if the girl knew how to use her power or if it just came to her.

I read it when I was in middle school I think as a PaperBack. I do remember in the end I was listening to the song Burn by Ellie Goulding and it matched perfectly to what I was reading at the time. and that is why I want to remember the book.

REDIT 1: I think also when the girl uses her power she flies up into the air( I could be wrong, long time ago)

REDIT 2: The book was young adult, I do not think there was any type of romance in the book, and if there was it was not the main issue of the book and it was not in detail.

REDIT 3: I think the boy and girl were less then 18 years old. though I do not know if they ever mentioned the age, it just seemed like it in the book when I read it.

REDIT 4: I do not think the book is older then 1980 but not newer then 2010

REDIT 5: Book was not Popular(in my standards like Twilight was popular, harry potter was popular) or new at the time of reading

REDIT 6: I read it 6-2 years ago.

REDIT 7: The Girls Power had something to do with light/fire she radiated it I think. they also traveled a long path if I remember correcly, All this edit could be part of the story I am not as sure as I am with the first paragraph of this post.

Maybe Witch and Wizard by James Patterson?Protagonists are brother and sister. The sister controls fire and can burst into flames. It was published in 2009. ;)

It's funny how often people forget the name of this book and ask about it. I myself forget the name of it until I saw so many people asking about it. Now I hope the name is embedded into my brain =)
