SOLVED. YA, high school boy goes missing (or dies). [s]

So I read this series between like 2005 and 2008. There were multiple books, and each one was told from a different person involved with the missing (or dead) character. The first one was told from his sister’s POV. The MC’s family is pretty well off, and I remember the sister not liking her brother’s gf all that much.
