Maya | 3 comments This book is about two indian cousins who are related because they're mothers are sisters. One of the girls is biracial, her father is black and her mother is Indian. The other girl is from India as her parents are famous Bollywood actors. They have to go to the same school together. They're grandmother, who at first didn't accept her biracial granddaughter, takes her biracial granddaughter to Indian dance classes because she is very good at it. That's all I remember, hopefully you can help me find what book this is. I read the book around one or two years ago, and I'm guessing the book was published in the last five years.

Maya, how old are the girls? Do they live in the same house; who owns it? Is the girl from India visiting for a short time; why did she leave her home?

Is romance part of the story?

Maya | 3 comments They are staying at New York City with the biracial girl’s parents. The girl is visiting to escape from her parents spotlight, and i don’t remember if there’s romance.

Suraya | 5 comments I'm pretty sure the book is You Bring the Distance Near by Mitali Perkins. Read it last year. I think this may be it, but I could be wrong.
