Laurel (laurel17) I believe the book was set in either France or America, or one of the protaganists has a French name, yet there is mentioned cheese and wine.. I believe the female murderer is called Alex and she murdered the guy by pouring bleach down his throat and hitting him across the head with a shovel. This is not her forst murder. The man kidnaps her and locks her in a box which is designed to exhaust your muscles and make you go through grueling hours of pain and cramps (Hence tortutre). There is also rats used to torture her and eventually usef to help her escape. She has a bad relationship with her mom and moves house an awful lot.

A.J. | 82 comments Lol. I've been stumped by a title in similar ways, too, and I'm glad someone was able to help you discover the title. I've just downloaded the sample to check it out.

Hell yeah. I'd love to talk with you about a read. :)

(If you happen to read this comment, Rosa, thank-you heaps for solving this one.)

Rosa (rosaiglarsh) | 5384 comments Oh, I didn’t solve it, I just linked to the book in Laurel’s comment, which apparently she’s now deleted.

A.J. | 82 comments Oh okay, fair enough. It still got me onto a new book with a great premise, so I'm pretty stoked.
