When Alexi determined Jane was raped before her death, who did you suspect?

Joanna | 139 comments I really wasn't sure. After more of the characters were introduced into the story, Pals or the husband seemed mostly likely. But after Sebastian told the husband about it, his reaction marked him off my list. I just didn't know why she was raped. I thought it was cruelty alone with no motive behind it.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I suspected the Dutch guy (I think his name was Peter van der Pals). He was such a misogynist that he seemed the likely culprit.

That was his name.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 242 comments I thought it was her husband. It wasn't uncommon for men to rape their wives if there was resistance. A woman was considered property to use as the husband wished.
