I read this a while back,it' a contemporay romance.

Hero meets a struggling girl takes her for a mistress and when his family meet her they all think she's stupid/simple.I can't remember why they split up but he finds her and truns out she's a dr but like DNA or something and doesn't know how to have normal conversations.

P,s he's rich but i have trailed through a lot of rich and clever heroines and cant find this thanks

No,she was highly intelligent but didnt know how to have mundane conversations so while he was rich and had a wide circle of friends she didnt because as i've just remembered her dad who was some sort of professor,he was dying so she sold everything took another jib to pay for everything.

I remembered that they met while she was a waitress i think he was there wiyh a ex who was a bitch and she spilt something on her and the ex went mental. Hope this helps thanks.
