I read the help document that says "To add a photo, browse an image (.jpg or .gif format) on the top right where it says "Add a cover image for this book." Then click on "upload photo." If you are adding other book data while adding the cover image, just scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "save." Except I don't see any option to add a photo or image. I'm reading the other posts and I'm confused...do librarians have to add cover images or not? Because the help docs are saying you can't provide a cover image from a bookseller (???) yet others are providing bookseller links and the librarians are responding, "Done." So I have no idea how to add an image, but I tried not to be clueless! Sorry! Please help! Thanks!

Bookseller links cannot be used unless they are from Amazon or one of its subsidiaries that are listed in the manual, because Amazon owns Goodreads.If you post the link to the book here on Goodreads we can look at it. Librarians have to add the cover unless the book is being added manually.
Authors can add covers to their own books though. There's a small grey "edit details" link on each edition's page, below the book information. Clicking on that will take you to a page where you can upload a cover if the edition is without one.

About 1,5 months ago I addeda book but not the cover.Now I want to ad cover (my pic) but it says can not.
#6: No, when adding a book there is a very short time for you to add the cover. A librarian can do it for you now. If you can upload the cover picture to "more photos" on your profile page (under your profile picture) we can take it from there. We also need a link to the book on Goodreads, or the ISBN number.
