Are you a hockey fan? I assume you must be to want to read his memior but idk. If so, I think you could count it as a book about *your* hobby, even though the people in the book are doing it as their job.

I've been playing WoW for years and this was the first book I've read about it it was really enjoyable!

Is hoarding a hobby? I just finished reading The Twisted Ones, about a woman who goes to clean out the house of her deceased grandmother, and discovers she was a hoarder. The book discusses hoarding pretty extensively, and it's definitely something you do "for fun"/not for a job, but I wasn't sure if it counts.

Hoarding is a mental disorder that can cause great emotional distress to the hoarder and people around them. It is not the same as collecting rare or valuable items like stamps, coins, etc. It is not something one does for fun. It's an emotional/mental compulsion. Several of my family members suffered from this disorder. I think it would be in very bad taste to call hoarding a hobby.
