So this book I read when I was maybe 10-13? So that puts the year/s I read it in around 2008-2011. I got the book from my local library which is unfortunately shut down.
The book from what I remember is about two teenagers who go back to a world they were heroes in. The boy was a berserker or something to that extent where whenever he fought he went into a rage. The girl seemed to be some sort of magic user but as soon as she got into that world I think she realised that she missed the power that she once had and it basically starts taking over her, and I think she started to melt into a trees roots at one point? That's all I can remember at this point. I just can't remember anything else about this book, not even the author. I might recognise the title if I saw it and read the synopsis but otherwise I've drawn a blank.
If anyone could help me find the title of this book it would be greatly appreciated.
