Bruce (banlohannon) | 36 comments Good morning. I am trying to do a Goodreads giveaway for the e-book version of my book of poems, Carson Clare's Trail Guide to Avoiding Death. Unfortunately, when I do this, the Giveaway "application" page asks for an ASIN. Amazon lists an ASIN (B07KF4B3CX) and I have cut and pasted it into the appropriate blank, but the message I get back is that Goodreads doesn't recognize the ASIN for the e-book. Can you help with this? Is it simply a matter of adding the e-book version to my list of books? It looks like it's already included but maybe I'm misinterpreting. Thanks for any help with this. Librarians can't help with Giveaways per se, but I've added the kindle edition of your book, which was not on Goodreads, so that may fix things: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

And I am being really petty but could you please correct the '3rd Edition' and "2nd Edition" in both of these books to 'Third Edition' and "Second Edition"? In all 14 editions of the original edition number is written with letters.

The books I would want to combine are not exactly the same book, because one is the Argentina/Uruguay edition and the other one is the Spain edition (there are changes in the selection of poems, that's why they are not the same). I don't know if the correct thing to do is combine them.

It is very likely that editions with other poems in other countries will be published, so maybe the next time I will just add a new edition (if that's how it works)? Thank you in advance!

#242 I believe I got them all; let me know if I didn't. I changed the 2nd and 3rd to words. It's not petty because that is what is written on the cover. :-)

Another librarian has edited some of the books since #287 was combined. I think I will leave this for someone else as I don't want to mess something up.
