I want to say it's the Daughters of the Moon series by Lynn Ewing. Some of the girls didn't have boyfriends when the first book, Goddess of the Night, came out, but as the books went on, they did. There was also another series she wrote called Sons of the Dark; first book is Barbarian.
That's it! A lot of the details I have were kind of half memories of it, so a lot of the details were only partially right, but once I saw the cover I knew that this was the series I was thinking of. Thanks Leah!

I don't remember much about this series, but what I do know is that it was a YA fantasy series about 4-5 girls who were either witches or had special powers (I'm leaning towards the special powers). They were a group of friends in modern time and went to high school, and each book was about a different girl. I believe that most (or all) of the girls had boyfriends who also had similar powers. The powers were secret (at least at school, I don't remember if their parents knew). I feel like there is an evil power that is trying to get them to join it, but this might be from something else.
I'm also pretty sure that in the first book one of the girls is new and the group doesn't know her, but that she is connected to the rest of the group in some way. She may or may not have some sort of memory issue when she first arrives. I believe her arrival sets off something bad that the girls have to stop.
Other random things I remember: (1) I think there was a party with bubbles, (2) I think one of the girls had one of their family members die, and (3) one of the girls had a hippy mom.
I read this series sometime between the years 2000 and 2010 in Oregon. I think it was closer to 2000 than 2010. I believe the series was new at the time, because I remember having to wait for the last one to come out (or being on a long hold for the books). I think the books each had that girl on the cover, and I also think that each cover was mostly just one color (I remember green, red, and gold). I also think that shortly after, there was a series from the same author about the boys in the books.
