I'll join in, I used to see Brenda's updates before I was in the group, I think it would be fun and easy!!

And your message has only been up for 2 hours!

I have a house guest arriving on that Friday for a weeks' stay so I don't know how much reading I will get done but I will see what I can manage...maybe at bedtime ;)
You'll need some bedtime reading to satisfy your addiction anyway Julie;)
Have a great week with your guest:)

That's the weekend of Father's Day isn't it? Hmmm, we might be busy taking hubby out if it is but I'll have to see if I can fit some reading in too :-)

I'm in too please Brenda. Not sure what I'll manage with work all day Saturday and Father's day Sunday but I'm sure even a small number adds to the total and might help. :)
I'm trying to decide if I'll be sensible and read a book from the Spring challenge. Or be wild and read a book that has no connection to the challenge at all.Or both one from and one not from! I mean I usually have 3 or 4 books on the go anyway.
Too many decisions.

Silly Sally indeed! LOL!!!

I'm looking forward to the list going up. Is this the most participants we've had for a read-a-thon?
I'd say so Veronica. And I think it's because I added the link to the bottom of the Spring Challenge invitation - a heck of a lot more people know about it now:) And that idea came from Sharon....so kudos to her!
I'm going to bake virtual cupcakes and sausage rolls. Veggie patties for the non meat eaters. Oh and virtual wine and some fruit punch. All set

Our goal will be a total of 10,000 pages read by all who participate. If we exceed that total, we will possibly increase it for our next quarterly read-a-thon.
Please post your interest here in this thread up until we begin the challenge - when the weekend is over the page number read will be tallied:)
If possible, check in at least once a day, more often if you want. Our cut off time for you to add your final totals will be 9am Monday 8th AEST (in case you fall asleep Sunday night;))
Good luck and have fun!
