What are you reading in November 2018?
I'm currently reading 3 books that I started on November 1st!
- Lady of the Lake in both audio & ebook at the slow and steady pace of one chapter a day; I'm so excited to finally finish the Witcher series! It's been a wonderful experience :)
- Empire of Ivory in audio; this series is brilliant. Good world-building, compelling characters and DRAGONS :D
- The Bones Beneath My Skin in ebook; I'm usually not a romance reader, but I've been roped into reading Wolfsong by the same author and loved it.

I'm still reading The Blood Star, which will probably occupy my time for at least the next week or two. After that ...
I'm currently listening to Children of Time. I've gotten so many great recommendations from this group, it's hard to decide what to listen to next :). I am very tempted by The Bridge Kingdom. Has anyone listened to it? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Started The Black Prism by Brent Weeks - enjoying the humor very much.
Right now I'm reading 3 books, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hide, The Fires Of Heaven
Finished The Wise Man's Fear - utterly awesome in every way. Also finished Origin which was awful. Then Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children which I enjoyed.
Now into a reread of Elantris
Hi all, many great books listed above. Shame we never have enough time to read everything. I am currently reliving my youth and re-reading all of Matthew Reilly. Not really fantasy but still fantastic. Currently 5/14.
Also as it just came out, I've started Skyward today, and so far I am loving it.
Finished Shadow's Edge. Unlike many second books in a series, this one was better than the first. Now onto Beyond the Shadows.
I'm reading Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson. Thank God for Wikipedia, so I was able to refresh my memory about the plot of the two previous books without having to re-read them.
Skyward by Brandon Sanderson came out yesterday! (I finished it but will be doing some rereads for the fanbase, of course). I recommend it to everyone who enjoys YA, go vote for it in the YA Fantasy/Sci-Fi category of the Goodreads Choice Awards!
Finished Empire of Ivory and The Bones Beneath My Skin.
Started Skyward by Goderson in audio and Damsel, a YA fairy-tale retelling, in ebook.
I'm also slowly reading the July/August issue of Uncanny Magazine. It's a themed issue: dinosaurs! The next best thing after dragons :p

They're amazing, right? The cover doesn't show it, but the dinosaurs in this issue were all feathered and brightly colored 😍

Anyway... Finished Damsel. It was really a quick read, the writing style is so simple. The story was predictable but still enjoyable, in a weird, "go get 'em girl" kind of way xD
Starting the newly released Minimum Wage Magic which is set in the same world as Heartstrickers and then will read The Labyrinth of Flame :)

I finished Mortal Engines the other day. I enjoyed the story, but it wasn't without its flaws. There seemed to be an uneven balance in the level of maturity. And now I'm finishing off the Broken Earth trilogy with The Stone Sky.
Theft of Swords, a wonderful adventure. I like the world created, the history and traditions, but mostly, the main characters. Other than, there is a mystery component in the plot that gives something extra to the story.

You talked me into it. It's now on my TBR.

Great Book. GGK writes really nice prose.

Finished The Blood Star and am now heading happily back into fantasy with Selections from the Writings of Lord Dunsay.
I like Sullivan too. I'm still sulking about missing that group read last year.
I'm reading the group read, go me!

Lies Sleeping just came out, don't know how many others read this series (you should it is amazing) but I am very keen on this. Starting it now :)
Finished Skyward and Minimum Wage Magic, two new releases from two of my favorite authors! The next books for both series should be out early 2019. I can't wait :D :D :D
Starting Victory of Eagles in audio. I'm all over the place with 'written' books: I'm very slowly reading The Labyrinth of Flame, just received The Waking Fire as a traveling book and got an ARC of Scourge of the Seas of Time from NetGalley.

I finished two books last night. The first was Exit Strategy. Nice wrap up to the series of novellas. I liked it almost as much as the first, which is still my favorite. Now the long wait for the first Murderbot novel. D:The other book I finished was Pandemonium. I also liked this one, but maybe not as much as Fragment, but that was also a while ago since I first read it.
And I'm now continuing the Firebringer trilogy with Dark Moon.
Finished Selections from the Writings of Lord Dunsay and decided it was time to revisit Barsoom, so started A Princess of Mars. Hey, those books were both published in the same year! (1912, that is.)
FinishedElantris. Also finished Strange the Dreamer which I loved. I think the second one came out last month so I'll get to that very soon. For now it'll be Legion: The Many Lives of Stephen Leeds then onto Skyward

The literature and art of that era is so rich and fascinating; love the fin de siecle.
I started The Blade Itself last week but I was still very much on my previous read. This weekend is really gripped me. I'm about a quarter through. I'm going to the thread now.
Yesterday I finished Theft of Swords. Today I stared The Last Wish. I never played the game, so this world and characters are new for me. I read the first two adventures and I liked, it remembers me the Grimm fairy tales or "One Thousand and One Nights".
Finished A Princess of Mars and moving on to, yep, The Gods of Mars. (I need to get through all 11 Barsoom books in time to start Blackdog ASAP in December …)
