Discuss The Hunger here. Please mark all spoilers when posting for those reading along.

Erin (ems84) | 2668 comments I'm about half way through it. If I had more time to dedicate to reading during the day, I'd probably already be done with it. It's hard for me to put down.

Latasha (latasha513) | 434 comments I really like Alma Katsu but this should not be your introduction book. She's great at creating characters but for me I would have liked more story and less back story with this one. I think her vampire trilogy is way better.

Erin (ems84) | 2668 comments I ended up loving the book. Reminds me somewhat of The Terror, which I also loved.

I haven't read The Terror but have read that The Hunger is similar in style. Also, Ridley Scott bought the rights to it and there was speculation that he would do a series like he did The Terror. I haven't heard much about it lately, though.

I think The Terror is much, much better.

If I had to pick between the two, yes The Terror is the better book.

Marlise (mawz76) | 119 comments I didn't see this one on the bookshelf for non-king reads. I'm still playing catch up from the end of last year so I'm glad I saw this thread before I started Bird Box!
