I take it you changed the series title when you re-released the first book?

Yes, that's correct. I rebranded because there was another Children of the Sky series plus a novel called Children of the Skies. Even though I was first, I thought it was getting a bit ridiculous. If you need confirmation that I am indeed the author, I can ask the original poster (Cognisaya/David Conger) to email you a confirmation if you want.

nope, that's fine. i just wanted to make sure i had titled the series page correctly. FYI, you can set the re-released edition (with the new cover and series title) as the default edition by following the instructions here:

I am not yet a Goodreads author, so I had the person who originally added the book give it a try. We followed the directions and clicked the "edit details" link but got taken to a page about metadata. When we tried answering questions about the metadata, we found that none of it had anything to do with the default edition. Can you provide a link where we can edit this? Thanks.

Chad, librarians cannot set the default for you. You will need to be logged into your claimed profile, and then you will be able to do it.

If you need help merging your two profiles, use the Contact Us link on the Help page.

@James Done: I also added the series for you.

@Chad: only the author can set the default edition of a book. If the author is not registered on GR, than the default edition is the most shelved one. There's nothing we can do about it.

The proportion of default picture of "Tesla's Revenge" is not the correct size. It is more squarish, while the cover of the Createspace 4th edition looks better and more professional.
