SOLVED. Kids going to magical realms. [s]

so heres what i remember about this book. it was read though not necissaril created in 2005. it follows 3 kids from different realms as they grow into their magic powers, and pretty sure each book started with "Realm od 'x' " like Realm of Magic or Realm ov Beasts or Valor or something like that.

i remember that one boy comes up in a new york type setting orphan i think but deffenitly a trickster on the streets thats how he made his living.

the second was a girl who comes from a medival background groomed for being a princess but excells at sport like with archery.

last was a boy from a high end advanced realm where technology was so advanced the boy never had to leave the house until one day things started failing to the point that he eneded up leaving and finding out that his society was being made possible by slaves.

later in the story we find ourselves in a realm where the trio stumble across unicorns and to the affect find out that their horns are the most magical thing ever and is used as a defense against the big bad as the travel to the center of the universe of the realms.

ive been picking my brain for as many details as possible. any help would be much appreciated

found it after playing with words in my head like a true book junkie psychopath and with a nudge from google. haha. anyways the book series is Diadem.
