Ahahaha, omg does she really?? I completely forgot about that. It makes me think that it's been a while since I've re-read Sense and Sensibility.
I'll be reading it again soon, and I've also just ordered the 1981 version. Nothing like a good old Jane Austen-athon.

OH YEAH! :)

As a character, she really doesn't seem to have any redeeming features at all.

It's not the worst Jane Austen adaptation but I think it might be the worst Emma.


After watching the dreadful Sanditon, I had super low expectations for this version of Emma so I think that's why I liked it more than most people.

I agree that the dialogue was good for the most part, as I said there were times when I didn't think it was that bad.
The folk songs were no doubt around in that era but they felt out of place played over the scenes they were in.
I really didn't dislike it that much but I can't say I want to watch it again either.
