Halfway through, just getting into part 2: I think we all knew nox was going to return.. that's all I'm saying bc I don't want to spoil much for those who can't read half this thing in two days. Lol
Please tell me I'm not the only one convinced that Rhys was the one on that snow-capped mountain who stopped Aelin's fall through the worlds? Winged male with power like a gentle summer night? Next to a pregnant fae female? It HAS to be them!! It would tie so much together - explain how the worlds are connected. I hope that moment is mentioned in the next Court book <3
I hadn't even thought of that. It'd be a neat Easter egg if so.
I was phsyched when Essar showed up, I had made so many theories about her helping free Aelin and I’m so glad one of them partially came true

I can not describe the feelings I got when I read about the winged fae male and a pregnant female looking at the stars. Of course it is Rhys!!
Anyhow, just finished the book. It was a great roller coaster!
I've been looking everywhere for people noticing Rhys and Feyre and finally someone else noticed! Made my heart so happy

That moment made my heart stop a bit and I'm so glad so many people noticed Feysand too.Other than that,I finished the book a few hours ago and I can honestly say I don't know if I'll ever recover from everything that happened.

worst book hangover :( I read like crazy for the past 3 days but I loved it and glad I'm not the only one thinking it was Rhys and Feyre!!! I just wanted and epilogue with a flash-forward to see them all with kids

Totally agree, all the deaths, non-stop battles, and torture of Aelin earlier in the book made this a bit of a sad read for me. And Aelin and Dorian (view spoiler) after all their sacrifices left me feeling deflated.
Having said that, Maas created an incredible series, and I was riveted to this book over 3 days. I will greatly miss this series.
That was a very bittersweet story to read. I loved that we got to see closure in most characters lives but I’m sad for a few reasons. I would have liked to see a bit more of how their lives played out and I was sad to read about the deaths of certain characters. When I read ACOTAR trilogy I thought the ending was cheesy a bit since no one major died. This ending having a more realistic approach was nice but made me sad still. I’m also sad that we won’t get to visit these characters anymore 😢

I'm kind of hoping for a novella,one like ACOFAS ,even though I know SJM hasn't mentioned anything like that.But I think it would be lovely to see them all ,let's say, a year down the line and how their lives have changed after everything.

Or like she’s doing with an ACOTAR spin-off
My fave part was probably Elide riding off to save Lorcan. I wish we saw more of Aelin weilding her fire power against the Valg. We only had one scene where she showed her fire. I actually like ToG more than acotar but for the last book.. I dunno, it was too sad for Elena and Dorian (the father). Manon, and Abraxos too. If at least one of the 13 survived it wouldn't have been that bad 😭 At least those who died would have each other in the afterlife.
I don't know if i'm just oblivious or something but does anybody know what happened to Nox after the first half???? Like im pretty sure he just disappeared after drugging Darrow and was never seen again...? He didn't even meet the real Aelin?!

I was looking forward to him meeting Aelin...

Him meeting Aelin was one the of the things i was looking forward to and he only ended up meeting Lyssandra as Aelin... :/
wait. So the Theorys about Fenrys. How his ancestors could have come from the ACOTAR world. And how Aelin, as she fell, saw Rhysand and Feyra. It got me thinking-- Could the Wyrdgate possibly explain how Amren, the Weaver, the Carver, and Abraxos ended up in the wrong world? Could Erawan and his brothers, in opening the gate, and searching for Maeve, have opened up portals to other worlds in the ACOTAR world, like Aelin did to the Gods in their world?

And when he helped Aedion drug the lords, he probably was branded a traitor, as Lysandra had warned him. So he's probably lying low, for the time being, and when the chaos ended, he could have gone back to Perranth where he lived before the war. And he didnt talk to aelin afterward because he had known Celeana and seeing Aelin's strength and power reminded him that Aelin was not Celeana. Or he died. There were many that died. Perhaps he died and nobody cared to notice that he wasnt there due to all that was happening.
Now that I’m sad and have nothing to read, what are y’all reading since this series is over? Thinking of rereading ACOTAR...

I have a feeling that something to this effect will show up in the rest of the ACOTAR books. What if there is a crossover and somehow the characters in TOG help The Night Court with whatever troubles they face next? I know Aelin sealed the Wyrdgate, but anything can happen. Maybe that's too much to ask for. But it just seems like with that scene where Rhys helps Aelin, it might set the groundwork for something like that. I'd fanboy so hard I'd lose my mind.

What happened to the Thirteen just broke my heart. I was reading it during my lunch break..and it was the worst place to be reading that scene. I had to go the bathroom to pull myself together.
This book was epic! The Thirteen and Aedion losing Gavriel though! And Elena being destroyed. What! I keep thinking there must be another scene where a piece of her got saved.
