In preparation for this book, I started wondering if advice columns like this still exist. After all, when don't humans need advice? I found a lengthy list of advice websites and podcasts here:

Raeann | 21 comments I listen to podcasts all the time! Though I don’t think they would call themselves “advice columns” that is essentially what they are. But maybe the do call themselves that. ?!
Usually I listen to ones that offer insights on various real life topics topics.

Lisa (lisanelsen) | 6 comments Thanks for the list! I love reading advice columns. Cheryl Strayed has a good one called Dear Sugar. The New York Times recently started publishing it.

Thanks so much for sharing, Raeann! I love how this concept of advice column has evolved over the years. Speaks to human nature that we all still need a little help.

Lisa, I think I would listen to any and all advice from Cheryl Strayed so I'm going to check that one out.

It's terrific! Here is the link for her current column: https://www.nytimes.com/column/the-sw...

There's also an anthology that was a great read called Dear Sugar.
