Bea I am reading this edition of Black Betty and found that the first 39 pages were a short story, which is not completed in this book. The reader (on page 39) is referred to Six Easy Pieces for the conclusion. Worldcat states the book is 360 pages (the last numbered page in the actual book) and that it contains a short story for pages 1-39. I have corrected the page count from 368 to the Worldcat 360. However, I am wondering about the inclusion of the incomplete short story for the first 39 pages. What should the page count be?

OK. I will leave it at the 360. What really bugs me is that the short story is incomplete!
