Hey, I can't seem to get an answer anywhere for this question.

I found a banner that matched my blog, so I created a header. I tried to upload it in Blogger, and followed all the right steps, but it won't display.

Does anyone have any advice?

Ack! Trying to upload stuff onto Blogger is frustrating (I recently tried adding a drop down menu and it took forever!). Anyway, whenever I want to figure out how to upload bloggy things, I do a Google search. I always come across bloggers that actually know what they're doing and post helpful posts.
Sometimes I follow what they say exactly, but I always run into a problem, but I just either try many more times or take a break and come back to it. I generally find a way.

That probably wasn't helpful, but it's what I have!
