I just realized I finished this book. lol I have a paperback copy that I would be willing to send to somene who wants to join this. Let me know I will pop it in the mail for you (for Free!!).
Yes, I did. I didn't think it was scary, but there were creepy parts. I really enjoy the story of the characters. I am going to lurk here for everyone's comments.
Perri, my copy of Bag of Bones has came in at the library. I hope to get it this afternoon or Friday.
Awesome, I picked my copy up Tues and I'm ready to go. Being a King fan, I should have expected it to be a door stopper, but it still took me by surprise. Luckily the pages usually fly by
Well I'm ready when you are. Im currently reading a Stephen King it is 11/22/63.. its pretty interesting I wouldnt have never picked it for myself i dont think.
Perri, so your really just starting..Im going to try to get as far as i can on 11/22/63 today.i will start Bag of Bones tomorrow.
I"m to chapter 10. This reminds me of another S. King novel that I liked Lisey's Story, except in that case a woman loses her husband. What I notice about this book and others is how King seems to understand and like women.
I listened to this book via audio and it wasn't until the second CD that I realized that the story had started because it was read by the author and the MC is an author. lolVery good tale, interested in hearing all your comments.
It does seem to have a bit of the autobiographical in it. Not that King's wife has died, but how he talks about writing, and how he sets his mind so it can be creative . The write the same kind of books, and it's funny how he compares himself (or rather Mike) to other popular writers
To chapter 13 . I'm always interested in why people stay in haunted houses. (view spoiler) Also, a mention of Donald Trump-ha!
I know its haunted, but yes i think so. The way its written i not sure what truly happening and whats not.
Where Mike went to library and got history on Sarah LAUGHS helped me alot to understand more that was going on.Before that I was so confused about it all.
Tonya wrote: "I know its haunted, but yes i think so. The way its written i not sure what truly happening and whats not."Imagine how Mike feels! ;)
Perri, i know exactly how he feels.VICKI-- That's what i have done just continued read and it has filled in the blanks so far.
I'm on chapter 21. I'm glad I kept reading its finally starting to make sense as you said it would Vicki.
